On the 16th Novemeber, 2005, Australia were up against a star-studded lineup from Uruguay, with their chance to make history and qualify for the World Cup in 28 years. The Aussies did it the hard way and forced Uruguay to a penalty shoutout. The equation was simple, win the penalty shootout and play at the most prestigious sporting event in the world.
